With over 500 million monthly users, talented creators can build large fan bases and become internet sensations within weeks.
That seems to be the case with these two TikTokers, Devin Caherly and Tati Mitchell. With a combined platform of almost 4 million followers, both are popular creators on the TikTok app best known for their POV (point-of-view) videos. This is a widely-used video style in which people record themselves enacting funny conversations or dramatic scenes which invites other users to “duet” or “react” to these videos. Devin and Tati both had large followings and were well known for this type of content before their worlds collided this June.
Recently, a string of viral videos featuring Devin and Tati has sparked a response from hopeful TikTokers – the duets and reactions shared between the two have inspired what fans are now calling #Tevin. The iconic collaboration has led to a TikTok romance, and both creators regularly feature one another in their posts. Some viewers are diehard supporters of this love saga, while others are following along for the comedy – either way, the connection between these two is undeniable.
The dynamic duo finally met this weekend on the 4th of July. Devin Caherly flew Tati Mitchell from Michigan to New Jersey so the pair could meet in person and create content together. After weeks of waiting and refreshing Tati and Devin’s TikTok pages for new videos of them, fans finally get to see #Tevin come together in real life.
