If you’re a Tiktok lurker like us, then you might have an idea what this is about. There is a big possibility that you’ve come across our person of interest today. We were able to catch up with her and ask her some questions some of you may be really curious about.
Who’s Tati?
Tatayanna is a 21-year-old Tik Tok content creator from Detroit, Michigan. Her Tik Tok account mainly focuses on cooking delicious meals on a budget. When we asked her what was the defining content for her career, it was her dollar tree adventure.
“One of my videos went viral because I went to my local DOLLAR TREE and bought a frozen chicken breast for $1.00 and created a fancy chicken fried rice meal for under $10.00. “

Tati loved cooking since she was little. She used to spend time with her grandma in the kitchen, helping around. She created a backup account that showcases her colorful and funny personality.
Humble Beginnings
Tati believes that her career is defined by two things: She loves cooking and she loves making people laugh. When we asked her what blew her name up on Tiktok, it would probably be her Dollar Tree adventures. She purchased a $1 chicken in her local dollar tree store and made chicken fried rice for just under $10.
We asked her what motivated her to create a Tik Tok account, she replied:
“What made me wanted to start making Tik toks was because I saw the app trending so I just decided to download it just for fun. I was dancing with my friends, then I said to myself I know how to cook & I’m funny so I’ll just show off my personality on here.”

Oh, and did we mention that she amassed a million new followers in 7 days? Yes, in less than a week. She attributes this to her “funny” and “un-problematic” content.
On her second account, she often collaborates with Devin Caherly. They make wedding POV videos and people are cracking up. They’re what fans call the “Tiktok POV couple”
Her wishes for the future
We asked her what’s her favorite part on her whole Tik Tok journey and she gladly replied with:
“My favorite part about Tik Tok is honestly the support I get, and the numerous amount of messages I receive on a daily. I am extremely grateful for each and every one of my supporters they are amazing and I love them.”

In the future, she wishes to be a voice actor for animated films. If destiny permits, she aims to be an actress. She is also an entrepreneur! What you see in her videos is 100% genuine Tati.
