People love to keep up to date with drama surrounding the world’s most trending teenagers. They sometimes forget that we are in the digital age where everything gets publicized. In a society where TMZ is the source of the hottest news, an offshoot seems to be looming in the background. Meet the creators of Tik Tok Room, we had the chance to interview the duo that started this social media power-house.
What is the Tik Tok Room?
The Tik Tok Room was created by Elasia and Nat. They haven’t disclosed much information about them, personally but one thing is certain: they’re here to give everyone the latest Tik Tok “tea.”
Nat and Elasia were inspired by @musershaderoom; an account they created for musical.ly gossip. Back then, it was a way for “musers” (those who use musical.ly) to catch the latest gossip in the community. Nat and Elasia started Tik Tok’s room in 2019.
As for inspiration, they draw ideas from The Shaderoom on Instagram and entertainment-based news sites such as TMZ. What all started with a couple of influencers unfollowing each other turned in to what they said is “biggest Tik Tok drama ever”. One of their biggest milestones so far is covering this story which has lead to their massive success.
What’s It All About?
As for content, they really specialize in the drama within the social media community. Some of their posts even reach millions of unique impressions! They even featured the whole break up situation between Chase and Charli D’Amelio.
They have also amassed millions of followers on Instagram and Twitter in a span of 1 year. Imagine this, you work your way to get 100,000 followers for 11 months, and one morning you just immediately hit 1 million. How amazing is that? They celebrated via twitter:
Future Plans
We are as puzzled as you are regarding the identities of the admins of the account. In an interview with Influence, they said that the biggest challenge is managing the accounts being a two-person team. Tik Tok Room also said that being featured in the account is not always a bad thing. Tik Tokers often get posted on our platform for their actions whether good or bad.
As for their future plans, they want to be the next TMZ. Tik Tok Room definitely aims to expand in the future to a bigger team allowing them to cover more stories. If you want to grab some of the latest so-called “tea” in the Tik Tok community, make sure you check them out on Twitter and Instagram.
