Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are living the good life at their Calabasas residence after years of renovations and pouring over $40 million into buying and altering a sprawling California mansion. In 2014, TMZ announced that Kim and Kanye would purchase Lisa Marie Presley ‘s former home in the exclusive Hidden Hills gated community for $20 million. The couple invested another $20 million on upgrades, installing a recording studio, a new master bedroom suite, and making major improvements in interior and exterior design. Their unique minimalistic style definitely shows in this home. In early February, People published an article saying, “The couple worked closely with Belgian architect Axel Vervoordt to completely remodel the home, creating a stark, almost church-like aesthetic. The home is decorated entirely in muted shades of white, brown, and grey — a color scheme which the pair says relaxes them and makes them happy to be home amid the chaos of the outside world.” The couple had the house valued with an approximate valuation of $60 million according to TMZ when it was finished in 2019. Kim is not the only Kardashian to live him up in one of California’s most exclusive gated communities. No longer billionaire sister Kylie Jenner also owns an estate here and her mother Kris bought a 9,400 square foot home across the street for $9.9 million in 2017.
