Although Entrepreneurship is often sold as an easy, “get rich quick” scheme. Its far from easy (and I mean that). Here are five things every entrepreneur needs:
1) Desire.
There has to be a focus on what you desire. Mr. Miyagi said it best to Daniel-san, “You Karate do “yes” or Karate do “no,” you Karate do “guess so” get squished like grape.”
2) Effort.
Unfortunately for the lazy, you’re going to have to work your butt off. Perhaps you’ll wake up earlier than everyone else. Maybe you’ll make connections faster than any of your colleagues. Maybe you’ll stop making excuses? If you don’t put the effort in, you simply won’t get results.
3) Knowledge.
Things get way easier when you are educated. Knowledge makes things come naturally and in the end, requires less work. Lucky for you, you’re reading this post and likely other great business publications (even though we are the best) as well.
4) Personality.
At the very minimum, it’s crucial to be kind to others. People will be attracted to your personality (in a business matter) and naturally want to start supporting you and your business. Be nice (but not too nice – don’t let people abuse your kindness), but also be respectful. There will always be haters – let them motivate you.
5) Optimism.
You need to be optimistic. Optimism is what will encourage you to keep going when things go wrong. Optimism will allow you to accomplish things because you believe in constant improvement (of course, not without hard work). If you have optimism, you are always going to find the path to success.
